Transmigrating to 1968: Volunteering to Move to the Great Northern Wilderness

[Period Novel, Not a Wish-Fulfillment Story, No Idiotic Plotting, No System. Read at Your Own Discretion]

Chen Zhaoyuan was biding his time at an electronics factory in the twenty-first century when a young woman he mentored invited him to dinner after work. But he got into a car accident on his way there.

When he opened his eyes again, he discovered that he had transmigrated to 1968.

He was now in the body of someone who looked exactly like him and even shared his name.

The twenty-first-century Chen Zhaoyuan had been a left-behind child, raised by his grandparents while his parents worked far from home for years.

After his grandparents died, he left with his classmates to find work in Shenzhen. For many years afterward, he barely kept in touch with his parents.

But now, for some inexplicable reason, he had a thirty-six-year-old stepmother and a younger sister only a year younger than himself.

At an age when his blood was running hot, who could possibly stand living every day with this mother and daughter?

So after they caught him sneaking around and doing something he shouldn’t have, he resolutely took the family’s household registration booklet and secretly signed up to go work in the Great Northern Wilderness.

This is a novel, after all. Please don’t confuse it with real life.
