Twelve-hour workdays and a rotating two-shift schedule drove this poorly educated, limited-ability good-for-nothing to the brink.
To avoid feeling sleepy at work, Lin You'an had only four hours to himself after getting eight hours of sleep. He lived in despair, with no hope for the future, like a walking corpse. He was alive simply for the sake of staying alive.
Lin You'an had no idea what to do with his future. All he could do each day was daydream, imagining himself as the protagonist: carefree and unrestrained, wielding a long spear and sweeping all before him, playing the hero everyone admired and looked up to.
He dreamed of transmigrating, living like a character in an anime: everything going his way, getting whatever he wanted, with luck, strength, and charm all maxed out. For a good-for-nothing like him, that was probably the greatest thing he could manage: dreaming.
As usual, Lin You'an lay in bed, lost in a beautiful dream, and drifted off to sleep.
He slept so deeply that he lost all sense of time. Even in his dream, the sleep felt unbearably long, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his eyes.
Suddenly, he felt weightless. Lin You'an was terrified. He had no idea what was happening. When he finally managed to open his eyes, he realized he was no longer on the dormitory bed at work. Instead, he was holding a long spear, standing in front of a goblin.
“Did I really transmigrate into a game world?
If that's really the case, then I won't hold back!”
I like it very much. I won't say more, it's beautiful!
