Ye Haotian and his girlfriend Su Ya worked hard in Shanghai for five years after graduation. Ye Haotian's job changed, and eventually the two broke up due to different life plans. Ye Haotian was ripped off for repairing his cell phone and decided to walk back to the rental house. Along the way, we experienced setbacks such as heat and crowded buses. Returning to the rental house, he recalled the past and decided to return to his hometown. When leaving, he said goodbye to his landlord, but was caught in a thunderstorm, and he was struck by lightning in anger. His experience was reported by the TV station, and Su Ya burst into tears when she saw the news. Our protagonist Ye Haotian travels back to September 1937 and begins his career in the War of Resistance in the Magic City of the Republic of China.
