I Still Love You Just the Same

Bai Hao never imagined that the client sitting across from her would be Ding Shuai, her high school classmate, whose confession she once turned down.

Forced to work under the same roof, they maintain a professional relationship that's both courteous and distant. But as the days pass, Bai Hao begins to notice some unusual things.

First, why does he insist on working at her company when he already has his own independent studio, and why is her desk right across from his office?

Then, when she casually sighs that she'll probably never get the chance to ride in a luxury car, the cars Ding Shuai drives over the next few days leave Bai Hao stunned: a Cullinan, then a Rolls-Royce, followed by a Bugatti and a Koenigsegg. Each one seems to be silently telling her something.

Even more astonishing, while browsing Ding Shuai's Baidu Baike page, Bai Hao discovers that her favorite lollipop is made by a factory owned by Ding Shuai. Rumor has it the factory shut down five years ago, but a mysterious tycoon was so fond of this candy that he took it over and insisted on keeping production going, whether it made a profit or not.

All these clues stir up a question in Bai Hao's mind: could Ding Shuai still have feelings for her?

In truth, even their reunion was no coincidence. Ding Shuai had carefully orchestrated it. But he doesn't know that one afternoon six years ago, as cicadas chirred softly, Bai Hao watched his lonely-looking figure in silence and made a wish under her breath: “If we ever meet again, I hope I'll be able to give you the answer you deserve.”

At that moment, only a gentle breeze passed by, carrying away her secret confession.
