[Love at first sight, younger male lead + scheming and calculating; not a strong female lead story, the heroine has her own stable studies and career]
Lin Xi fills in for her advisor’s lectures, only to catch the eye of Gu Chen, the young heir of a powerful Beijing family. After class, he asks for her contact information and gets rejected. Gu Mochen then pulls some strings to keep Lin Xi teaching in his place, giving him a chance to pursue her.
So what if she has a fiancé? After a series of events, when they meet again, they can only look at each other in silence.
The male lead later becomes a ruthless, unhinged CEO. The best parts are still to come.
