(A grim start, but the fights are exhilarating! No dumbed-down characters, and everything is logical.)
[The writing gets much better later on. I’m revising the earlier chapters, so thanks for understanding.]
“The church said the hero would save the world. It never said he’d command us with nothing but a silver tongue!”, Aivleya’s battle diary
When Aivleya first met the legendary hero destined to save the world, she was completely smitten with him.
That is, until she finally managed to become his teammate…
The guy’s hands shook so much he couldn’t even kill a chicken. All he did was cling to a prop fake holy sword and whine, “Hey, sis, my equipment’s about to break!”
But soon she realized…
This smart-mouthed guy was a walking tactical database! I don’t understand half the words he uses, but I just have to do what he says, right?
When the goblin ambush force charged out in full, he instantly switched into commander mode: “Feint on the left! Flank on the right! Aivleya, start a fight in the middle and take out their AD!”
When the Abyssal Labyrinth was crawling with people who couldn’t find their way, he crushed the compass and sneered: “Magnetic interference? Hah. Follow my map, and we’ll wipe out their core!”
When the Demon King’s elite guards launched a suicide charge, he shoved his holy shield into the hands of a terrified villager and yelled at her, “What are you standing around for? Defuse it with force! If it blows up, call it a workplace injury!”
Clutching a monster’s skull, Aivleya sneered: “Where’s my paycheck? My benefits? What are we eating at the team outing?”
Long Aotian adjusted his nonexistent glasses. “Beat the Demon King, and I’ll reward you with a one-time immunity-to-flaming pass.”
Then, before the Demon King’s throne, a forbidden spell blasted half the holy armor off Long Aotian.
The dying Demon King sneered. “Fools! She’s the real demon…”
Before he could finish…
Aivleya’s fist had already punched through his demon core. Blood dripped from her fangs as she snarled, “You talk too much.”
I listened to several chapters in one go, and I felt it was pretty good. It's not the same kind of novel. Come on! Let me first talk about my feelings after listening to it. It can be seen that the author is writing seriously, but many places are too detailed. Some places are amazing, but many places are a bit too much, but overall it is good, at least better than the kind that is written in one stroke. The place where the battle takes place is truly amazing! I've read a lot of novels, and the descriptions of fighting are just about skills. This book has very detailed action descriptions, which is really cool! It's very tense, a kind of novel that doesn't look like Eggplant. That's about it. I've listened to fourteen chapters so far. Please say goodbye to the eunuch and don't die! Please! Please write novels for the rest of your life! They can do anything! After listening to it, overall I can feel that the author's writing style is slowly improving. The stories are currently quite compact and not watery. Come on, I will keep reading.
A rare good book, but it is a pity that the dispute between persimmons has always been like this. Good books are not famous, and gold is dug out of the cesspit. If the reading volume is not up to standard, I will not recommend it. If it were not for daily gold mining, this novel would not be seen.
Afraid that the five stars will be eaten OMO 🤦 Cheers, author [sending heartfelt wishes]
