The Immortal’s Tribulation

Ten thousand years ago, he was Qian Huang, the ancient God of War revered and feared by the Three Realms. But the Heavenly Emperor saw him as a threat and joined forces with the Spirit Sovereign and the Human Empress Wa to set up a God-Slaying Formation. They gouged out his divine bones, shattered his soul, and sealed him beneath Fuxian Lake for all eternity.

As he lay dying, he laughed like a madman. “Ten thousand years from now, I will rewrite the laws of heaven!”

Ten thousand years later, in the Spirit Realm’s forbidden lands, a rash young woman named Cong Yu stepped onto the peak of Xingyu Mountain. The man who had been sealed for ten thousand years grabbed her by the throat. “You actually don’t know who I am?”

Reborn, he returned, and the Three Realms trembled.

The Heavenly Emperor laid a net across the world and summoned the guilty immortal’s soul from beneath Fuxian Lake to resurrect the Spirit Realm’s sovereign. But instead, he found the fiendish god who had once bathed the Ninth Heaven in blood getting jealous over a rival.

Only later did the Three Realms learn the truth:

That ancient fiend who once stirred up the world wanted nothing more in this life than to lie flat. He had long since turned Mount Buzhou into a jade hairpin, his heart’s blood into a jade pendant, half his divine power into a wedding dress, and ten thousand years of loneliness into a nuptial wine cup.

What did the laws of heaven matter? His only path was to live this life to the fullest!

But what freedom was there in this world, what chance to live life to the fullest?

The guilty immortal’s soul beneath Fuxian Lake could wait no longer. He was determined to claim justice for himself!
