This is a story about friendship and love, family and career, new love and old love. In the early 1980s, four college students, two good buddies and a pair of sisters, who were the favored students at the time, had complicated emotional entanglements. They experienced emotional conflicts, broken friendships, blocked love, studying abroad, returning to China to start a business, unwritten rules in official circles, dangerous business circles and other tortuous events. Decades later, these friends are in different directions. Their life paths are different, and the ending is evocative and sighing.
