The Wind Blows Through Our Youth

“Liking you was the best thing I ever did,” Cheng Ruochuan told him.

The boy sitting in the last row of the classroom hides loneliness and stubbornness beneath his carefree exterior. He’s long been used to being ignored by the world, until the day a transfer student named Lin Zhixing shows up in his first year of high school.

Lin Zhixing is reserved and always keeps his head down, as though an invisible wall separates him from everyone around him. But fate makes these two very different boys desk mates.

Starting out distant, they gradually draw closer. Cheng Ruochuan is moved by Lin Zhixing’s earnestness and quiet resilience, while Lin Zhixing slowly opens his tightly closed heart with Cheng Ruochuan by his side. They become each other’s support and the light in each other’s lives, bringing warmth to one another’s youth.

But fate can change everything in an instant, and in the end they have no choice but to say goodbye to those days. Years later, looking back, the smiles, tears, and moments of heart-stirring affection have become indelible marks in their hearts.

This is a youth destined to have no happy ending, and a silent farewell about companionship and growing up. Meeting you was the luckiest thing that ever happened to me; losing you is a regret I can never undo.
