Tomb Raider Adventures: Secrets of the Ancient Tomb
Night shrouded the ancient mountains, and the crescent moon hung high, casting a cold glow. In the stillness of the forest, Zhao Youcai and Zhang Xiaohua picked their way along the trail. Zhao Youcai was a fit young man with keen eyes and an unshakable passion for treasure-hunting adventures. Though Zhang Xiaohua was a woman, she was every bit as brave and determined as any man.
Their destination was an ancient tomb said to conceal endless treasure. Local folklore shrouded it in mystery. They said it held not only precious gold and silver, but all manner of rare treasures and secrets unknown to the world.
“Brother Youcai, do you think there's really treasure in this tomb?” Zhang Xiaohua's voice trembled slightly in the silent forest.
Zhao Youcai glanced back at Zhang Xiaohua, who looked a little nervous, and reassured her. “Don't be afraid, Xiaohua. Legends don't come from nowhere. If we stay cautious, we'll find something.”
As they spoke, they reached the foot of a mountain. Before them was a hidden cave, its entrance shrouded in a thin mist that sent a chill through them.
“This must be the entrance to the tomb.” Zhao Youcai took a flashlight from his backpack and cautiously approached the cave.
Zhang Xiaohua followed close behind, clutching the hem of Zhao Youcai's jacket with both hands. As they entered, a stale, rotting smell filled their nostrils. The flashlight beam wavered in the darkness, illuminating strange symbols and murals on the cave walls
