Even Immortals Gossip: From the Celestial Court to Olympus

Gao Yuan, an ordinary variety-show grunt, is chosen by the Heavenly Court and embarks on a bizarre interview tour. The Jade Emperor personally invites him to create The Gods Interview, a show dedicated to interviewing all kinds of immortals. After arriving in the Heavenly Court, Gao Yuan begins by interviewing its three biggest troublemakers, then digs into the anecdotes and little-known secrets behind various deities.

But this is more than just a lighthearted comedy interview tour. As the interviews go deeper, Gao Yuan gradually uncovers the complex power struggles between the Heavenly Court and the various divine pantheons. From an ordinary mortal, he unexpectedly becomes the center of a storm in the divine realm. As the immortals go to war, can he stay true to himself and interview them all, or will he be dragged into a conspiracy that could reshape the world?

With hilarious dialogue, wildly imaginative worldbuilding, and profound cultural reflections, The Gods Interview invites you to revisit China’s ancient myths and legends from a whole new perspective!
