A world where the modern city intertwines with ancient ruins.
A mysterious relic, the Netherworld Map, points the way to the lost emperor’s treasure.
Shen Hao, a calm and rational PhD in archaeology, carries an unbearable grief deep inside.
Ever since his father disappeared, he has been searching for the Netherworld Map:
It may hold the key to the truth behind his father’s disappearance.
Fighting by his side is a team that seems ordinary at first glance:
The brilliant, quick-witted tech expert Li Meng, the humorous, seasoned veteran Zhao Yu, and the enigmatic young woman Lu Yao.
Every tomb-raiding adventure brings them to the brink of death.
And every secret they uncover in an ancient tomb conceals an even more dangerous conspiracy.
The Netherworld Map is far more complicated than they imagined.
It is not merely a guide to treasure; it is also tied to a curse from an ancient religion.
As one strange event follows another, the team’s trust begins to crumble.
Betrayal and death follow close behind, and Shen Hao gradually realizes
that everyone around him seems to be hiding an unspeakable secret.
Lu Yao in particular already knows everything about the Netherworld Map,
and her identity and motives are far more complicated than Shen Hao could imagine.
As the truth gradually comes to light, Shen Hao faces a merciless choice:
Trust or betrayal? Life or death? Redemption?
