[Not Invincible + No System + No Idiots + Urban Superpowers + Urban Martial Arts + Original Worldbuilding + Judgment]
[Before reading: Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Read at your own discretion if this bothers you.]
[This is a different world: every blade draws blood, and every contest is a matter of life and death.]
“When a story demands that someone meet their ruin, will you choose destruction, or turn your back on everything until your life burns out? I have asked myself that question countless times, but all I ever found was an uncertainty I could never dispel. I have repeated the same mistakes again and again, and I cannot see where this road ends. But that is not what matters. I am willing to become kindling and burn until I reach the true ending.”
The story begins with an invasion by another race. They keep encroaching on human territory, and after thirty years of war, humanity and the invaders finally sign a thirty-year peace treaty. Under the hand of fate, a young man sets out on a path of no return. In a world filled with countless strange calamities, he quietly takes up his duty, continuing until the invaders are completely “cleansed”...
[The world is false, emotions are false, and he alone is the only one truly alive.]
The writing is a bit green, but the plot is pretty good and nothing too toxic.
