The novel begins with Liu Queer, a poor family member, accidentally falling into a deep pit while planting trees on the mountain and discovering the ancient burial customs and sarcophagus burials of the Rongdi people. It tells the story of Liu Queer's battle of wits and courage with a series of people to protect this ancient tomb.
