I Became the Master Who Died Tragically, Yet I Still Have to Save the Killer

[Two equally powerful leads + female lead transmigrates + male lead is reborn + one-on-one romance + cultivation + invincible protagonist]

System 233: Your mission is to take the male lead as your disciple, then cruelly abuse and humiliate him. Become the first perfect stepping stone on his path to growth, and after he kills you, earn a huge pile of gold coins.

Liyuan (female lead): ? Your punishment is to plant peach trees all over the mountains ahead. (Imagining herself ruling over enslaved laborers.)

Liyuan (male lead): “All right.” Master is as full of energy as ever today.

System 233: … (Is this some new technique?)

System 233: As a vicious supporting character, you must help the male and female leads develop feelings for each other. If you fail, you will be sent to Hell to plant trees for five hundred years!

Liyuan: Huh? Aren’t they already getting along pretty well?

Liyuan successfully takes a job as a groundskeeper in Hell.

Liyuan: Hehe.

System 233: Look behind you.

Liyuan turns around and sees the male lead fighting his way into Hell, digging three feet into the ground and pulling even ten-thousand-year-old bones from the fertile soul-soil to crush them into soul sand. She immediately breaks into a cold sweat.

Liyuan: Not hehe anymore.

I, Liyuan, have returned reborn with a max-level account after swimming upstream through the river of time. In my previous life, my cultivation wasn't very high; I had only just reached the Imperial Realm. Now that I'm back, I will surely reach even greater heights, and while I'm at it, deal with those who once suppressed me.

What kind of bird is this that can talk? And why does Master smell so good?
