Chronicles Before the Era

While exploring outer space, humanity makes an unexpected discovery at the L3 Lagrange point: a habitable, Earth-like planet capable of supporting intelligent life. It is named Gan Shi. Since it lies on the far side of the Sun and takes the same amount of time as Earth to orbit it, the planet had gone undiscovered until now. A scientific expedition is dispatched.

When the first expedition reaches Gan Shi, they find a single continent inhabited by numerous peoples, including the Wuzituolunu. These societies are in transition from tribal communities to city-states. The strong rule the land, and warfare rages between peoples and city-states alike.

The expedition accidentally becomes entangled in a local conflict and is attacked, losing contact with headquarters. A rescue team is sent to their aid.

As the rescue operation gets underway, a vast swarm of meteorites hurtles toward Gan Shi. Their immense gravitational pull is about to unleash a world-ending flood, but the planet's inhabitants have no idea that a great calamity is coming...
