Playing Red Alert in the Apocalypse

In the modern world, a sudden global disaster strikes. Perhaps it is a mysterious virus brought by alien life, or an unknown scientific experiment gone out of control. Whatever the cause, most of humanity quickly mutates into zombies. They have no reason left, only an insane urge to attack and gnaw on every living thing. The world plunges into chaos and darkness. Cities become ruins, resources grow desperately scarce, and survivors struggle to stay alive under the threat of the zombies. Small groups frequently clash over limited supplies. Against this backdrop of a hopeless apocalypse, the protagonist unexpectedly embarks on a different path to survival.
