Magic and Demons: Origins

[One Female Lead] [No System] [Not Mindless] [Academy]

In certain corners of the world, mysterious magic and demons lie hidden.

Humans stole Devil Fruits and gained control of magic, giving rise to the profession of mage.

Later, turmoil broke out among the demons. Human mages seized the chance to kill the mightiest demon, known as the "Lord," while the surviving demons retreated into hiding. As humans came to rule the world, mages faced an unprecedented catastrophe and gradually disappeared into the mists of history.

Then, in the eighteenth century, the demons returned, and the "Lord" awoke. The mages who had carried on their legacy established the Moore Academy of Sciences and began seeking out the descendants of mages to fight the returning demons.

In the twenty-first century, Lin Yusheng has just started college when a group of mysterious people bring him to a so-called magic academy. There, he learns the history of mages and demons, and eventually gets caught up in their conflict. He had only wanted to keep his head down and live out his life, but every time he goes on a mission, he somehow runs into an awakened demon. As the world's ultimate secrets continue to unfold before him, he has no choice but to play along.
