[A two-faced Demon Lord who loves playing the victim as the pursuer × a “cool and aloof,” powerful Immortal Lord who fiercely protects his loved ones as the pursued]

The world is one plane of the main world. The mortal realm, ghost realm, and divine realm are all connected to the main world.

Jin Xuanqing and Chao Ciqiu are forced onto the path of cultivation. They become disciples of Ling Yuan and Chu Yun, and get along wonderfully with their senior brothers and sisters at the sect. The sixth senior brother, Pei Suo, is especially good at catching chickens and teasing dogs.

Before becoming immortals, they meet some people from outside this plane. Most are there to oversee the plane’s course, while others have come just for fun. Tragically, not long after becoming immortals, Chao Ciqiu is killed by the Heavenly Emperor. After waiting and waiting, he finally gets to see him again two thousand years later, but they can’t reveal their identities right away. At the disciple recruitment ceremony, they end up becoming master and disciple, each giving in a little.

Just when they finally recognize each other, tragedy strikes again: Jin Xuanqing is killed. Chao Ciqiu waits ten years for him to return, and as soon as he does, they get married. Chao Ciqiu can hardly wait to marry Jin Xuanqing on the spot, holding him and crying as he pours out all his grievances.

At the wedding, Jin Xuanqing marries Chao Ciqiu.

(Everyone knows how their story ends, and they are all willing to die. None of them intend to change their fate. Jin Xuanqing knows how everyone’s story ends.)

There are few fight scenes in this story, which is mostly laid-back.
