Honkai Impact 3rd: The Disease of Creation

"Do you remember the gift I gave you?"

"Pfft~ Of course I do. The most important one was that little snake plushie. Why?"

"Hehe~ Mobius, you're wrong about that~"

"I know I got it wrong... But only you can say the real answer out loud. If I had to say it, I'd rather die again. You're so embarrassing."

"Then I'll say it~ The very first gift I gave you when I came to this world was myself! Every day, I'll tell you: I like you, I love you, Mobius."

"How long are you going to stay trapped in this illusion?"

In a pure-white space, Xu Tao sat upon a lonely throne. There was nothing before him. He had been talking to himself all along. The words he'd just heard from Mobius were only from his memories, while that last sentence was his own consciousness resisting him.

Xu Tao lowered his head. All he held was a toy snake. He pressed it.

"I know. I like you too, I love you too. There, happy now, little Peach?"

Xu Tao smiled and pressed it again.

"I know. I like you too, I love you too. There, happy now, little Peach?"

Xu Tao lost himself in it for who knew how many years, until...

The toy snake fell completely silent, making no sound at all. Its battery had run out.
