In the early 1960s, on the banks of the Nanting River, six young students from the Chinese Department of Southern College, Liu Xing, Si Xian, Ma Ji, He Bing, Lida, and Li Ya, spend their university years chasing their dreams, discussing their ideals, imagining the future, and planning their lives. They fall for one another, write passionate poems together, spin stories full of twists and turns, and eventually set out on life's journey side by side.
