Butterfly’s Tender Love

In the second year of Jingyuan, the late emperor passed away. My twin sister, Xiao Qingqing, had only just taken the throne as empress when Noble Consort Yao framed her with a vicious scheme, accusing her of strangling her own child. She was sentenced to death by poisoned wine, and not even her remains were left behind.

I am Sima Dieyi, the legitimate daughter of the Sima General’s residence, yet I have been swept into the whirlpool of palace intrigue. I thought I was going to my death, but little did anyone know that I would carry my sister’s blood feud and make my way, step by step, to the dragon bed of the emperor himself.

Noble Consort Yao’s schemes, Lady Yao’s malice, and the emperor who personally sentenced my sister to death…

I will make them pay for every drop of blood spilled in this harem, with interest.

Dieyi enters the palace not for wealth and glory, but for revenge.

In this deadly game of the inner palace, I hold the black pieces and will wipe out every last one of my enemies.
