[Energetic Songs] [Hilarious Antics] [Comedy] [Career]
"With that yellow hair on your head, you sing worse than a croaking toad. A talentless hack like you has no place in the music industry. Quit and take some time to work on yourself."
On his first day back in the country, idol singer Huang Tao faced mockery from an industry veteran. He didn't argue back. Instead, he humbly took the criticism to heart and told his fans, "The veteran is right. If you don't have the skills, you should leave the industry and work on yourself. I'll see you all again in a year."
When they saw that he really had left the industry to work on himself, the media were stunned. "Has Huang Tao gone crazy? Doesn't he know he's an idol, not a powerhouse vocalist? Doesn't he know that if he disappears for a year, he'll be completely forgotten? What does he mean, 'work on himself'? He must have lost his mind."
Just as everyone thought Huang Tao was finished and that the entertainment world had forgotten all about him, he suddenly made a comeback a year later, after unlocking the System's song library. With just one song, he stunned the entire industry:
"My year of self-improvement is over. I'll make my comeback with 'Spring Snow in the Courtyard.'"
"Spring Snow in the Courtyard" brought him back to the top. Invited to compete on The Strongest Singer, he set the stage ablaze with "Your Answer," "The Most Beautiful Sun," and "Miracle Reappearance." With one fiery song after another and electrifying performances, he became the industry's top-tier star.
I hope to continue working hard and write better and better.
