It takes place in a large farmhouse courtyard called Silicon Valley Courtyard in Hailin Village, Donglin Town, southern Chongqing. Four farm families, the Li family, the Chen family, the Zhao family, and the Xu family live in the courtyard. Reform and opening up have brought the spring breeze of a new era to this traditional farmhouse, telling their stories of emotional entanglements, laughter, joys and sorrows.
