After My Mother Was Blown Up, My Best Friend Went Mad

My mother was blasted out of the kitchen by an explosion caused by a gas leak. I hid in my bedroom and watched silently as the flames charred her until she was unrecognizable, feeling nothing. In my previous life, the moment the kitchen exploded, I rushed in to save her, but couldn't find her. I was swallowed by the raging flames and suffered severe burns over most of my body. Lying in a hospital bed, I saw my older brother standing beside me with my mother, completely unharmed. They looked at me with triumphant smiles. I eventually died despite efforts to save me, and before I passed, they even signed an organ donation agreement on my behalf. Until the day I died, I never understood why my mother, who had promised to cook for me, hadn't been in the kitchen. What had caused the high concentration of gas in the kitchen to explode? When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day the gas leaked.
