Anecdotal novels in classical Chinese from the Song Dynasty. Written by Lian Bu of the Southern Song Dynasty. "Shuo Yong" is appended with Wang Dong's postscript at the end, which is believed to have been written by Lu You according to "Hui Pian Lu". One volume contains the "Shuo Yong" edition. There were originally seventy-three chapters in this book, but now only more than ten remain. Each chapter is of different lengths. They mainly record the legacy of the Southern Song Dynasty, but also occasionally cover the Northern Song Dynasty. Some fragments have strong story telling. There is a copy of "Xiangyan Series". There are ten chapters in it, all of which describe strange anecdotes and are pure lies.
