Civilization of Calamity

[Lovecraftian + Sci-fi + Apocalypse + Gods]

No System, no invincibility, not a wish-fulfillment story. If that bothers you, don’t read!!!

The tranquil universe is shattered by a deafening roar. A terrifying monster, so vast it blocks out the sky, suddenly appears beside the moon. It opens its gaping maw, and in an instant, the moon is swallowed without mercy, like a speck of dust.

Without the moon’s gravitational pull to keep it in check, Earth is plunged into catastrophe. Giant tsunamis unleash thousand-meter waves that rampage through coastal cities like savage beasts. Worse still, the length of a day suddenly shrinks to just six hours.

Amid this calamity, entirely new civilizations spring up like shoots after the rain. Giants stride forward, each step making the earth tremble; angels beat their gleaming wings as they soar beneath the apocalypse’s fading light; and the Void Civilization hides in darkness, shrouded in mystery.

Humanity is as insignificant as ants amid these layers of danger. Having lost the home they knew, and facing powerful new civilizations, will people struggle to survive in desperate circumstances, or join hands to seek a new hope? The wheel of fate has begun to turn. What, then, lies ahead for humanity?
