The Wind Blows Toward Southern Xinjiang

Xiao Yiyu had just graduated from a sports university when he joined one of the country’s top conglomerates. With help from his friend Tang Feng, he obtained a second core, that of a lake dragon, and grew stronger once more. Later, in the Peach Blossom Valley of the mysterious Qinling Mountains in the north, he obtained a third core.

Deep beneath the boundless sea lived a tribe of merfolk. Xiao Yiyu hid inside a giant squid and entered their underwater world, where he obtained the merfolk’s sacred treasure, the Merfolk Core. The underwater world rose above the sea’s surface. Xiao Yiyu was surrounded by dozens of divine heirs from the West and gravely wounded by bombardment from foreign forces. In the end, to protect Shen Lingjie, he chose to detonate his inner core and perish alongside the divine heirs.

Carrying the Green Snake Gu, Yao Ziqing arrived on a lone boat, killed every soldier involved in the attack on Xiao Yiyu, and carried away his shattered body. After receiving guidance from Daoist Qingyang, she learned that divine cores were merely external sources of power, while the human body was the foremost vessel of all living things.
