Mysteries Halt Within China's Borders

This world seems to hold many mysteries! The West has gods, but does the East have gods too? Why can’t people living in Huaxia see the immortals from their myths? As black mist shrouded the “entire world,” some ordinary people began awakening spiritual energy and embarked on the path of cultivation. As more and more ordinary people became what the world called “anomalous beings,” they discovered that hidden families with lineages stretching back thousands of years also existed. These families seemed to have been cultivators long before the black mist covered the world. An old saying goes, “Warriors disrupt the law with force, while scholars disrupt it with words.” These newly awakened ordinary people chose of their own accord to join the nation’s official forces. Their differing ideals brought them into fierce conflict with the hidden families. But when the nation faced a crisis, a few of those families gradually joined government departments and took on greater social responsibilities. Most, however, refused to contribute their strength, intent on preserving their lineages. Chen Ning burst onto the scene as a dark horse in the world of anomalous beings. See how he stirs up a storm. Within Huaxia, the gods shall go no further! All who enter shall be slain!
