Doctor He Fei

I’m an ordinary medical student. Once I graduate, I’ll drop the middle word and become an ordinary doctor. I used to think my life would be like one of the textbooks I studied: planned out from the very first page, following a set course. But I was wrong. This book isn’t bound from ordinary paper. Every word in it is alive. You may think you’ve prepared thoroughly for a chapter, only to find that when the lesson actually begins, it has become completely unfamiliar. But don’t worry about failing, because stingy life offers no retakes. There are no rankings for the final grades, either. Everyone carries their own score in their heart. It is this: at any point before life’s “semester” ends, no matter how despairing you may once have felt, did you ever give up on “love” and “dreams”?
