[Parody + Possessed by evil spirits + Stacking poison resistance + No dating shows, no bullet comments, no livestreams + Protagonist with an eccentric train of thought + Humor that isn't just a pile of memes + A genuinely funny novel]
One-sentence summary: Liu Qiang, who possesses a foolish holy constitution found in fewer than one person in a billion, battles all kinds of evil spirits that defy conventional understanding.
Author's note: Like the title suggests, I originally wanted to write an insanely toxic novel, one so unbearable that after finishing it, readers wouldn't be able to get into any other novel.
But as the plot unfolded, I decided it would be better to focus on comedy.
Still, because of the main plot and overall tone, some parts may be a little toxic.
What I can promise is that the mildly toxic parts usually go hand in hand with the laugh-out-loud moments.
Finally, a genuinely funny novel is actually the hardest kind of novel to write. It has no fixed template or formula, and it requires the author's mind to stay in a freewheeling, unconventional, irrational state throughout the creative process. So updates won't be very fast. If the quality stays the same and updates suddenly speed up one day, it means the author's mental state has definitely taken a turn for the worse.
I hope everyone can understand. I truly want to write a work where every chapter makes you laugh out loud, not pad the word count with bullet comments and awkwardly forced jokes just to meet an update quota. So if you like this novel, please don't hesitate to show your support. Even a little support is the greatest motivation for me to keep writing.
