Siheyuan: My System Rewards Diligence

A sudden accident, like the turning of fate’s gears, swept Zhang Yuandong into the world of Love in the Courtyard, a place teeming with all kinds of people. On top of that, he was lucky enough to bind himself to the Heaven Rewards Hard Work System. The story opens with a lively courtyard-wide meeting. Before Zhang Yuandong has even had time to adjust to his unfamiliar surroundings, he is thrust into the spotlight. Jia Dongxu bluntly demands that he donate twenty to his family, acting as if it were only natural. Yi Zhonghai, who has always considered himself a “good-natured man,” is just as quick to take his beloved pupil Jia Dongxu’s side, trying to pressure Zhang Yuandong into complying through moral appeals. Worse still, Jia Zhangshi marches right up to Zhang Yuandong, brazenly holds out her hand, and demands money as if she were entirely within her rights. Her shameless, tantrum-throwing behavior leaves everyone stunned.
