Deep Love Is a Thing of the Past

My CEO husband thought I was too much trouble, so he deliberately gave me the lowest contact priority.

I wasn't allowed to contact him about ordinary matters. Urgent matters had to be approved by his first-love assistant.

The day I miscarried, I bypassed his first love and contacted him directly.

Before I could say a word, he berated me:

“Do you think everyone has as much free time as you do, being pregnant? I get hundreds of calls a day without a break! Do you have any idea how much those thirty seconds of yours cost me?”

As soon as he finished speaking, he blocked me on yet another number.

At the same time, his first love posted an update:

“Isn’t being someone’s favorite just becoming the pinned, starred contact on all ten of a successful man’s phones? (shy)”

My husband liked and commented: “You deserve it.”

I smiled and liked and commented too.

“Perfect match. Wishing you both a lifetime together.”
