He is strong and indifferent, like a mountain that has gone through wind and rain, standing still. He is sophisticated but not worldly, and has a thorough understanding of the troubles in the world, yet he is able to maintain a pure and flawless heart. He only had to stand there quietly, without saying anything, to become the focus of everyone's attention. His eyes were always as calm as lake water, as if nothing in this troubled world could stir up ripples in his heart.
Even though we haven't seen each other for decades, whenever I replay the past experiences with him in my mind, I still feel a shock in my heart, as strong as the first experience. Those fragments of memory are like precious gems, shining brightly in the long river of time, which makes me full of emotions. His image, his words, and even his inadvertent emotions are all deeply imprinted in my memory and have become an indelible part of my life.
