[Mild Horror] [Not a Doormat] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Not Invincible] [One Female Lead] A suspenseful supernatural story with a realistic setting. No mindless plot, so enjoy with confidence.
Lin He grew up in the countryside, bearing a blood-red birthmark. When he turned one, the fortune-teller who came to read his fate died mysteriously in his home...
Later, he was sent to Mount Longhu to study magic. There, he met a junior schoolmate who gave him hope. But the good times did not last. Eight years later, the secret of his birthmark was discovered, and he was driven out of the Celestial Masters' Mansion.
He wandered from place to place, enduring countless hardships. Thanks to his natural talent and abilities, he escaped one calamity after another, and even turned misfortune into fortune, gaining more magical skills and experience.
At twenty, he happened to settle in Xiangcheng, where he began a new chapter in his life.
That same year, he was reunited with the junior schoolmate he had not seen in so long. But she was blind, covered in scars, and had lost her memories. She seemed nothing like the gentle, refined girl who had once encouraged him to keep living...
[This is neither a purely fantastical romance nor a reborn story, and it is not an ancient martial arts tale. It is set in the real world, incorporating Taoist sects as background for the protagonist. It explores the collision between traditional Taoist schools and a modern setting.]
[The synopsis does not cover the entire plot. More of the worldbuilding will be revealed as the story progresses.]
