Love at First Sight: CEO Fu Takes a Wife by Force

[The Hero Falls in Love at First Sight, Then Takes Her by Force; He Must Win Her Back + Happy Ending]

The second time Fu Congxiao saw Xu Zai, she was wearing heavy makeup and a low-cut bunny-girl outfit. Nothing remained of the fresh-faced, innocent girl who had stood onstage just days earlier to accept her scholarship certificate.

Fu Congxiao stubbed out his cigarette and pulled her into a secluded corner. “Instead of putting on a show for people here, why don’t you come with me?”

Xu Zai froze for a moment. “Mr. Fu, I have a boyfriend. Please show some respect.”

Fu Congxiao used underhanded tactics to keep Xu Zai by his side. Everyone assumed she was just like all the substitutes who had come before her.

Sure enough, when his white moonlight returned, Fu Congxiao promptly dumped Xu Zai. The upper crust of Jing City all wondered when he would propose to his true love.

But before long, someone spotted the usually dignified and self-possessed Fu Congxiao, drunk and clutching a photo of Xu Zai as he murmured, “Sweetheart, please don’t divorce me.”

Xu Zai always knew she was nothing more than a means of passing the time when Fu Congxiao was lonely, a canary he kept around to amuse himself.

Even when she was later forced to marry him, she never believed Fu Congxiao loved her.

Until the day she was stranded in the mountains.

Fu Congxiao crossed half of China and walked more than three hundred kilometers just to find her.

He bent his noble back, his eyes bloodshot. “Xu Zai, I’m here.”
