[Interstellar fiction + ensemble cast + mecha + mystery + rekindled romance + love-hate relationship + war]
[Both leads are unhinged. The male lead is a scheming charmer, and the female lead is tough on the outside but soft-hearted underneath.]
When Luo Dingbai's younger sister, Luo Yan, and Zhang Jing were hunted down on Luanchao Star, they were lucky enough to be rescued by Yu Man.
Yu Man exposed her identity by saving them. Later, she resumed using the name Zhou Ji and appeared to help Ji Tiange on the main star, while secretly leveraging Ji's influence to search for her missing left eyeball.
As it happened, Luo Dingbai was also investigating the person behind a long-buried case.
The two loved and fought with each other. Luo Dingbai's smooth-talking ways always made Zhou Ji soften, while soft-hearted Zhou Ji was always able to keep him in line.
Just when everyone thought Zhou Ji could leave the past behind and be with Luo Dingbai, she used their feelings to draw out the mastermind.
War broke out, and the truth came to light. It turned out that no one was innocent; everyone had helped bring about the disaster.
Later, Zhou Ji and Luo Dingbai returned to Luanchao Star together. A friend asked them, "So, are you a couple or just friends now?"
Zhou Ji smiled. "Neither."
