Cheng Wei was jolted awake from a nightmare by a loud crash!
He looked around in panic, only to see an injured wolf lying on the ground.
Covered in scars, the wolf stared fixedly at Cheng Wei with his deep green eyes.
Cheng Wei reached out to help him, but the wolf growled, "Miserable mortal."
And so Cheng Wei began a life of living and striving alongside the Wolf God. Along the way, they went to the underworld to make a cameo, adventured on immortal mountains, and even held a friendly meeting with the Queen Mother of the West.
