Wei Shu was the seventh emperor of Great Qin, Emperor Daohuan. During his reign, the realm was peaceful and prosperous, and he governed diligently with care for his people. Later generations called it the Daohuan Golden Age.
At forty-six, he fell ill with tuberculosis during a southern inspection tour and died on the road.
When he opened his eyes again, he had been reborn as Lou Yuzhu, the daughter of the Grand Marshal of Southern Chu.
A stalwart man of forty-six years had suddenly become a woman, and the emperor had arranged her marriage to a useless prince.
No matter. Even as a woman, she could still put that good-for-nothing prince on the throne.
Later, Wei Shu discovered that the useless prince had been playing the fool while hiding his true abilities, and had managed to turn him gay.
