The Night Wanderer

After the deaths of people who come home late at night, the detective agency and the police station’s criminal investigation task force join forces to investigate several shocking cases in A City. Zhang Li, a streetwalker, is brutally murdered out of jealousy by a friend in the same line of work. Chen Wenwen, a hardworking translator who has been avoiding her parents, is brutally murdered by her supervisor. Cheng Xuan’s excuse for working overtime leads his wife to suspect him of cheating, and she kills him by mistake. Li Hong’an, a delivery driver, is run over and killed by a rich, spoiled young man driving drunk in A City, then dumped in the wilderness. Chu Yiyi’s detective agency seems to be an offshoot of the police station, but who would have guessed its main business at first was helping wives catch their husbands cheating? Peng Xianyi and Chu Yiyi also develop feelings for each other as they work on the cases.
