Lin Yu is an ordinary college student who spends his days obsessed with science fiction novels and video games. One stormy night, he is playing a newly released virtual reality game in his dormitory. Suddenly, lightning flashes, and an electric current travels through the computer cables and strikes him.
When Lin Yu opens his eyes again, he finds himself in a strange world. He is surrounded by a dense forest, and the air is filled with strange energy fluctuations. Before he can figure out what's going on, he hears a low roar. A giant two-headed wolf bursts out of the trees and lunges at him.
Terrified, Lin Yu runs for his life. In his panic, he realizes that his body seems to have become extraordinarily agile, allowing him to dodge the two-headed wolf's attacks with ease. Just as he thinks he is about to be devoured, a mysterious power surges from his hand and transforms into a beam of light that strikes the wolf. The beast falls instantly and turns to ash.
Stunned, Lin Yu stares at his hands, unable to understand what has happened. Then a mysterious voice sounds in his mind: "Welcome to the world of supernatural powers. You have awakened an ability. From here on, you'll have to walk your own path."
