Wang Hao was a university student. During a rare astronomical event, he unexpectedly gained the ability to hit every target with his arrows and a mysterious hunting lottery System. After graduating, he returned to his quiet mountain village.
Back in the village, Wang Hao took up hunting. He roamed the forests with a bow in hand, and the bow seemed almost alive in his grasp. Sparrows on branches, plump fish by the stream, and rabbits in the grass were all easy targets.
Once, deep in the mountains, Wang Hao encountered a herd of wild boars. He wasn't afraid at all. His arrows, loosed with his special ability, flew toward the herd like raindrops. He drove the boars off and came away with a rich haul. He also searched the mountains for herbs, and could easily handle any danger from wolves.
Every time Wang Hao went hunting, he was building up energy for the lottery System. Once he had enough, he could draw a prize. The System held all kinds of magical items: seeds that could make crops ripen quickly, shoes that made it easier to walk through the mountains, or a whistle that let him communicate with animals.
The proceeds from hunting improved Wang Hao's family's life. He also taught the village's young people his hunting skills, leading everyone on the road to prosperity. With help from the magical lottery prizes, life in the mountain village grew more and more exciting.
Comment on "Graduating from College and Going Home to Hunt" This novel takes an unusual path. The protagonist returns to his hometown to hunt after graduating from college. The characters are well-developed and his inner struggle and perseverance are empathetic. In terms of the depth of the theme, it triggers thinking about the inheritance of traditional life and personal value. In terms of style, wildness and tenderness are intertwined. Although the characterization of the supporting characters is flawed, the flaws do not outweigh the flaws and it is worth reading.
Personally, I feel pretty good.
