Punished to Serve as a Maid for Five Years, Now the Entire Xia Household Begs for Forgiveness

At the height of the Tang dynasty, a ravenous, absent-minded young woman stumbles into the Xia residence and becomes a maid. After making a mistake, she is sentenced to five years of service.

At a banquet, she meets the domineering male lead, a great general, and the truth about her background comes to light: she is none other than a long-lost princess of the Tang dynasty!

When the Xia family finds out, they beg her forgiveness, but the villainous prime minister does everything he can to stop her from returning to the palace and reuniting with her family, even attempting to kill her.

Luckily, the male lead protects her every step of the way. Together, they outwit the prime minister, with plenty of laughs along the way, as sweet romance quietly blossoms between them.
