Great Qin: The Man-Slaying System, Continuing the Legend of the Snow Dragon Cavalry

Twenty years ago, a heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in the state of Qin. A Fang, the beloved woman of Prince Zheng, died after giving birth to a son. The Yin-Yang School divined that the child bore Heaven’s punishment and was cursed. To protect the Great Qin dynasty, King Zhuangxiang of Qin secretly ordered the Imperial Preceptor to kill the swaddled infant.

That very night, however, Bai Qi, the empire’s god of slaughter, slipped into the Imperial Preceptor’s residence and, at enormous risk, carried the baby away. In doing so, he changed the course of the child’s fate.

Time passed, and twenty years went by in the blink of an eye. The world had become one in which “the six kings were defeated, and the four seas united.” Ying Zheng unified the six kingdoms and founded the mighty Great Qin Empire. Yet even at the pinnacle of power, when he climbed the tallest Star-Gazing Tower in Epang Palace, his weary body carrying him upward, and looked out over the vast, boundless lands of Great Qin, a hard-to-name regret still lingered in his heart. Perhaps he missed the love he had lost, or perhaps he still worried about the child he had never met.
