Three hundred years later, Taoist Lu Ya traveled through the three realms and found that the world had been deeply poisoned by Buddhism. He found and rescued Wukong, who was imprisoned by Tathagata, and taught him the Thirty-six Transformations of Tiangang and the Taoist holy treasure "Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife", hoping to disrupt the Buddhist ambition to annex the three realms.
After Wukong got out of trouble, he figured out the whole story and vowed from then on that he would break the Lingshan Mountain and eliminate the Buddha and defend the Tao in this life!
