Isn't the title of the book about the life of a noble girl behind the scenes? I haven't seen any mention of a female protagonist, it's all about the heroine's mother or someone else.
I really like this author's novels. The writing style is very unique. The content of this short story is wonderful! Mother and daughter are both protagonists and I love their emotional lines! The ending is perfect too! It's just that the relationship between the characters is a bit complicated. It's a pity that the advantages of the young heroine Jinglan are not used.
