Cultivation in This World Is a Little Off

[Transmigration + cultivation + Cthulhu Mythos + one female lead + golden finger + not a wish-fulfillment story]

Jiang Fengming was thrilled to transmigrate to a cultivation world.

He was even more thrilled to discover that he had a System after transmigrating.

But this System wanted him to go undercover in the cultivation world while doing archaeology. Jiang Fengming couldn’t make heads or tails of it.

There was no helping it. The System was offering too much, so he decided to do it, however reluctantly.

But as he carried on, Jiang Fengming realized something was wrong.

Could some tentacled monster be behind all this?
