Azur Lane: Mental Cube Affinity

Azur Lane game setting + a world with multiple Commanders + shipgirls + growth + alternate World War II + special Wisdom Cube abilities

Lin, a White Eagle native who left home to make a living, enters the White Eagle port as an intern, only to discover that she has an unusual ability connected to Wisdom Cubes. She hopes to use it to build a stable life, but an alliance meeting takes a sudden turn. The factions probe one another and sign a naval treaty that no one intends to honor.

Forced to fend for herself after naval downsizing, Lin opens a small shop to provide logistical support for the shipgirls serving other Commanders. But she unexpectedly threatens the interests of powerful investors and is framed in a lawsuit. Even after winning, her opponents wage a financial war and use legislation to shut her down, manipulating Wisdom Cube prices and cutting off her livelihood. Determined to earn the Wisdom Cubes she needs, Lin is forced to leave the White Eagle and cross the “Dark Route,” controlled by the Sirens, to try her luck in the Royal Navy.

She hopes to start over with the Royal Navy, but as an outsider, Lin is once again pushed aside. An accident leads her to learn that there is another person in the Royal Navy much like herself. Meanwhile, the Sakura Empire and Iron Blood announce that they no longer share Azur Lane’s values. They break away, establish the Crimson Axis, and seek to deepen their cooperation with the Sirens.

Forced to sail in the same battleship as the Royal Navy, Lin can only ask, “I just wanted to make a quiet living running a small business and earn some Wisdom Cubes. How did things end up like this?”

A big mash-up of an Azur Lane fanfic, with a bit of everything. As a veteran Commander who’s been here since launch, I’m looking back on those years with Azur Lane by my side. If you like it, add it to your collection. Updates will be paced according to the stats. I already have a complete story outline, so if you’re interested, you can follow along.
