I Am a Shipgirl Commander

A shipgirl born in the depths of the sea nearly drowned.

The one who reached out to save her was a mysterious being.

“Are you my Commander?”

“Yes and no.”

Before she could figure out what those words meant, she became her own Commander.

“You're free now. I'm sorry.”

With an unfamiliar letter in hand, Shubi set out on the journey laid before her.

Top of her class in a single subject, she became a shipgirl Commander. Born with powerful weapons, she could build high-rarity shipgirls at will and crush her classmates in joint exercises.

She thought she would graduate from the academy without incident and become an ordinary shipgirl Commander. But during her internship at the port, Shubi was forced to face the Siren flagship.

The Siren Yamato, the Siren Musashi, the Siren Shinano...

Seizing air superiority and breaking through the torpedo net, Shubi turned what seemed like a battle where her life was on the line into a strike from another era, crushing the fantasy fleet of the Eight-Eight Fleet Plan.

Yet Shubi was nowhere to be seen at the head table of the celebration banquet. Looking closer, she was sitting with the destroyers.
