The Comic Book Savior’s Handbook: A Guide for the Overworked

Signed. Female-oriented, female protagonist, forum posts, limited scenes for the heroine, lots of secret identities, shifting perspectives, ensemble cast.

I’ve never written anything this long before, so some parts of the early chapters may feel rough.

My name is Mo Qianqian. I’m a miserable corporate drone, stuck all day with a bunch of colleagues who aren’t quite right in the head and a boss who’s always going off the rails. Following my boss’s instructions, I took on a mission to save the world. But what’s up with this mission? Nothing about it seems right!

What do you mean my secret identities have become everyone’s favorites?

What do you mean my boss ran away with someone?

What do you mean my secret identities have become everyone’s one true love? What on earth are my secret identities doing? Flirting and falling in love or what?!

The beautifully drawn, wildly popular comic “Spirit Sequence Out of Control” came to an end. The author had promised a happy ending, but changed it to a tragic one, enraging readers and sending their angry complaints straight to the top of the trending list. Some time later, people were surprised to find that the comic was being redrawn, with many new characters suddenly added. Plenty of readers kept complaining, but as the story unfolded...

A person as pure as a child walks without hesitation toward the future, toward a certain death.

“I’m already happy just to have had the chance to live in this world!”

A flower that struggled to bloom in a dark mire closes its eyes forever.

“I hate you all... I really, really hate you.”

A self-conscious, sensitive boy is saved and grows into a kind and fair-minded person. He passes that kindness on to others, giving his life for a future where everyone can be happy.

“I love you. It has nothing to do with you.”
